Antique Navajo Squash Blossom Necklace
$650
This is an authentic coin silver Navajo necklace adorned with twelve squash blossoms and a Naja pendant. Naja is the Navajo word for ‘crescent’.
The iconic Navajo Squash Blossom Necklace has a long history in Native American jewelry. On this necklace, every sterling silver bead has been made by hand. Even the clasp is hand forged. 12 Squash Blossoms, the flared flower shapes attached to the beads, and the crescent Naja pendant are traditional elements. This necklace is lighter than most Squash Blossom Necklaces so it is comfortable to wear, plus it has a more casual look.
Handcrafted by a Navajo silversmith in New Mexico.
