Antique Onyx Marble Mantle Clock
This fantastic Victorian period clock is in good condition.
Made in the 1880s by the Ansonia N.Y. clock company.
The white onyx marble case has a couple rough spots on the edge of the marble including one corner of the top. It was broken off / glued back on after an accident (see photos).
Marble case sits on 4 brass ball feet and measures 12″ wide x 5″ deep x 9.5″ tall
The white porcelain dial has bold Arabic numerals and an open escapement. The time and strike movement is in good condition (it loses about 2 minutes every 24 hours but can likely be adjusted).
Gongs on the half and hour.
Comes with a key to wind clock.
